Add me to the list of people who wants to start developing their own black and white this year. I also want to digitally archive as many old photos (particularly color photos) that are film prints and slides stretching back as far as possible. If possible I will try to archive the actual pictures as well, but some of them are in pretty bad shape after 20-50+ years.
Outside of photography, more exercise, less fat, more time in prayer and daily mass. And be a better father and husband.

Had a crappy 2012 so hoping next year will be better. After 19 years of being unable to work due to a back problem and arthritis the UK Govts new rules have found me and numerous other disabled people fit for work, taken away all benefit and are making us look for work. I won't receive any money either while job seeking for two years. So at the moment I'm expected to be kept by my wife. All I have is my name and my cameras.
Best scenario is I find a job that I can do and pays at least equal to the disability benefit I was on. Come April there is every chance I will lose my car too.
So my resolutions are;
To find employment
To lose weight and get as active as I can to enable me to work.
Photo related resolution;
Catch up on reading my photo books. Had some a couple of years and haven't got round to reading them.
Shoot a project. Not an original idea but need to find something to maintain my interest, as I'm getting tired of random street shooting. Not even sure what project yet.
Take some family shots. In recent years it seems the only shots I've got are snaps.

2012 was not a good year for me on a personal or photographic level.
I think my resolution last year was to not take so many pictures of the backs of peoples heads. I think I failed that one. I even have a picture of the back of my cat's head. Saved on the computer. I even printed it.
This next year I think I will be more realistic and allow myself to have times when I don't feel like taking photo's and not feel guilt. This year I went from 2 cameras to 5 hoping that it would help me feel more creative. Next year, I want to get back to 2 again. I would also like to get back to 2 lenses again. Cringe.
Next year, i also resolve to get my non existent photo catalog in order.
Scary stuff...

I suscribe to the original poster`s resolutions: shoot more film, get out more and buy less stuff, so basically shoot more and less GAS

1 - Finish writing and photography on "A Field Guide to the Ferns and Fern Allies of Wisconsin" - something I've been working on for 3 years.
2 - Set up a darkroom in my basement and make prints

This worked for me: Notebook, scales, pen, food calorie count book. Every morning, weigh yourself naked as soon as you're out of bed. All day, record the calories of everything you eat. Stop eating at 1600 calories. Repeat ad nauseum . I dropped from 105 Kilos to 65 Kilos in three years and I haven't gone back up (apart from the occasional Christmas splurge 😉 ) for the last five years.
I hope you succeed. Then look up the nearest Tory and give him some proctological advice!

Shoot the M3 alot more compared to my other film cameras and get some prints off to my Mom. The important stuff is meditate/worship more, give more, and serve more.

I resolve, for 2013:
-Buy as much photographic stuff as I want without feeling bad about it or feeling the need to justify it. ( I've got pretty much what I want now....so this may be easy)
-Take or don't take as many pictures as I want.
-Enjoy and appreciate other peoples photography and let them know about it.
-Enjoy and appreciate my own photography.
-Don't make resolutions I have no intentions of keeping.

Seriously.....to follow my wife's advice and spend little to no time on Internet forums. The less time I spend on them, the happier I am and the more time I spend in the real world.

I don't usually make resolutions, but in the spirit of the season here are a few long term goals:
- enjoy my free time with my 2 year old daughter
- likewise with the next one due to arrive in February
- take lots of photos of them during
- put a serious dent in the stock of 80+ rolls of film in my freezer in the process
- save up for an M9/M-E (maybe)

Now that I am back into active photography, I resolve to use only one type of film and developer all year. It will be Ilford Delta 400 exposed at Ei200 and developed in HC-110 dilution H. My latest favorite combination.
