21mm viewfinder attachment

Has anyone successfully converted their 21mm viewfinder for the crop lines of the M8? I keep trying, but it's always a little off. I'd actually send it out to be done, but I don't think anyone offers this service as yet.

Any advice, links, anything, appreciated.

It's called a 28mm finder. 21mm X 1.3 (crop factor) = 27.3mm

I know exactly what you mean. It is off a bit.

I have a Ricoh GRII an absolutely a totally fantastic little camera that fits in your shirt pocket. I purchased an optional external optical viewfinder rated with a 28mm framing guide. It is called the GV-2 Mini External Viewfinder. Its $200.00 US and can be purchased from www.adorama.com.

It works perfectly on the M8 as a 28mm viewfinder with frame lines!!

Save your 21mm finder un-modified for using with a Voitlander 15mm (15 x 1.33 = 19.95). I then use the finder that came with the Voitlander 15mm for when I use the 12mm (12 x 1.33 = 15.96).
