just bought a like new used fuji 27/2.8 lens at a really good price...it is already attached to one of the 2 xe1 bodies i have and will now be my constant companion in and around and outside the house. i want to discipline myself to start seeing in images again and i want a camera close by.
the 27 is a good lens for this, small, light, quick and cheap...

what?
Great little lens. Mine is always on the go, while others sit in the box waiting waiting for their "special assignments"

It is a sweet lens. With the 27mm on an X-E series body, it's nearly the same package size as an X100 series. You'll enjoy using this combination.

i was thinking about using a wrist strap with this kit but decided to use a short neck strap and keep it close to the chest...but i can't find my short strap...it's round like the lance ones but it's not a lance...must continue to search...

I recently purchased a 23mm f2 and though I like the aperture ring of the 23, I much prefer the form factor (still find the 23 physically long) of the 27mm.

I think the 27 is an outstanding lens. Really excellent image quality all across the frame. I've owned one several times, sold it several times, and I'm about to buy it AGAIN! Its such a great 'all-rounder', carry-all-day lens. The only quibble I have with it is the sound of its autofocus motor, but that's minor compared with everything else you get (great price used, fast autofocusing on newer Fuji bodies, and excellent image quality).

I assume thats the 27mm pancake? I rented a XT2 recently, used the new 23mm f2 and the pancake 27. The 27mm was on the Xt2 90% of the weeks rental, sweet for street!...

yes, the 27 pancake...it can get lost in the fine fuji lens lineup...
