As for me, mine didn't come with a focusing lever. I see that the one shown on Cameraquest does come with one. Bought mine used and it's a couple of years old (don't know the exact age but it did come with the older larger plastic separate viewfinder) so perhaps this is something that was added later? I assume the focus lever screws into a threaded hole on the focusing wheel? I looked at mine and there's no such hole.

vrgard said:Thanks, Joe. I'll have to take another look at mine. (edit: yep, I see the dummy screw now. guess I'll have to check with gandy about getting a replacement focus lever. So, Joe, let me know what you think after you've used it for a while).
And glad to hear you like my new avatar, Ray. Just my doc doing a little rewiring to make my brain work a bit better... 😱 But the pic was taken with a rangefinder (Olympus XA held out in front of me - just guessing on the framing).

with the next beer you can have the one of my lens. I don't use it. I like it on the Color Skopar but the 28/1.9 has grip enough without for me. Check your lens, on the focus ring is a cover screw that can be replaced with
the lever.
