28mm on G1/G2

Can someone speak to how the 28mm Biogon operates with the G1 and G2 viewfinders? With the hood on, how does the lens protrude into the viewfinders' field of view? Thanks.

On my G1, the 28 w/Contax UV filter: the filter ring shows just a very tiny bit. W/hood & filter, the hood shows ~ 3/8" in the lower right corner of the vf. Does not interfere with use.
On my G2, w/o hood, the filter ring does not show in the vf. W/hood, it shows about 1/4" into the vf. Again not obstructing use.
