28mm viewfinder which protrudes backwards?

Hello,
I am the proud new owner of a Horseman Convertible 6x7 camera. I really like the look of it, and would like to get an optical finder for it, rather than use the wireframe assembly built in.

It's a 62mm lens, so on 6x7, I'm thinking a 28mm finder will be close enough.

But the thing is, on the back of the Horseman is of course, a 6x7 film back, which is over an inch thick.

That means, ideally, I'd want a 28mm viewfinder which protrudes backwards, like an Alpa one:

I expect a Voightlander will be OK, but before I buy, has anyone any suggestions for a finder that hangs back a bit?

The Alpa one costs more than the camera did, so that's out.

It wouldn't be hard to make a plate the fits the original shoe and extends an appropriate distance. Add a shoe from a junker and you're good.
A local thrift shop P&S with a shoe may run all of $3.00..
I doubt it would be worth the $$$ to have someone else make one.

Yes, I've considered that and I can buy all the bits very cheaply, I just would rather something made for the job. No big deal though, I think I'll get the Voigtlander finder and see how it goes. If I need to fashion an extender of some kind then should not be too tricky.

The Olympus VF-1 finder protrudes about half inch backwards. It's roughly the FOV of 35mm, and the entire view (outside the lines) is 28. It costs less than the CV finders. Might be an alternative.

Looks pretty good to me, half an inch may be enough to make it comfortable to use... I'll check them out.
