I would liked to have added "if it can be avoided" to my original "don't follow others" but that would have busted the word budget that Joe allowed us.
Far too many people trying to be other photographers IMO ... HCB comes to mind here. I saw a flickr link in a thread recently to a young shooter with obvious talent and a brilliant eye ... the line 'this could be the next HCB' or something like that nearly made me choke!
