I was perusing the wares in a dollar store located in one of our many area malls.

What did I happen upon but a bin of 35mm film. Buy one, get two free. I looked at the box. Not much info about the film, except a line "made in Germany."

So what the heck, its only a dollar to try it.

Got the first roll back, turns out this is Agfa 100, don't know what variety from the negative. Pretty nice though. I went back an got 9 more rolls. Probably should clean them out.

The film is labeled Solo DCF.

Wal-Mart sells Agfa film under the name Polaroid. It says on the box in small type Agfa film, made in Germany.

I always liked Agfa film for use with the Nikkor's shooting birds at a local wetlands. It is not the "Picture Postcard" color of Kodak or Fuji, and worked out well with the higher contrast lenses.
