35mm Film Cassettes and Recycling

What, if any, parts of standard 35mm film cassettes do you recycle? I know what can recycled varies by locale, but I'm interested to know how people deal with the non-film components of the medium.

We have One big blue recycling bin for our house so I just throw them in there...sometimes I'll keep the plastic spool just in case I need one for my reusable cassettes...
I've been keeping the 120 spools...I've got a few hundred...seen people selling them on ebay...I do recycle the paper backing though...
