35mm M-mount lens for the A7II

anyone tried the canon 35/2 ltm on the a7?
considering cost and size, it will be a great fit if there isn't any major issue.

It is a great lens, extremely small as well but you have to know what you are doing as it gets a softer after you move away from the center (it gets better as you step down of course) and there is quite a bit of vignetting but I don't mind that and the bokeh is distinctive as well. It is also surprisingly good with a helicoid close focus adapter as well is stepped down a couple of stops.

A few examples with the Canon wide open when it the subject is in the "sharp zone"

The ZM 35/1.4 smears a bit as well but it is not that bad and it is extremely sharp where it counts (a much wider area than the Canon 35/2 LTM and you can focus for the corners as well if you want to) and does have that Zeiss 3D look (micro-contrast, whatever...) which is lovely.
