I like the street lamp, there is something about the similar tonality of the lamp body and background sky, I would have possibly experimented with a different composition. The lamp more off center and maybe lower to give it more dynamic but if you were more in a calm mood, then your choice is better.

placement of the lamp was tricky...it was not a very tall street lamp and there were buildings all around...but i do have a problem of centring my subjects sometimes.

"Klaatu barada nikto” is a phrase that originated in the 1951 science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still. The humanoid alien protagonist of the film, Klaatu (Michael Rennie), instructs Helen Benson (Patricia Neal) that if any harm befalls him, she must say the phrase to the robot Gort (Lockard Martin). In response Gort relents from destroying the Earth and resurrects Klaatu from death.
