Just a quick thank you to all that gave their valuable advice.

I have now received the camera and finally decided on a hardly used 1996 Elmar-M 50/2.8. Attached is a picture of my new setup, the camera and lens look brand new!

A quick plug for a very reliable Leica dealer on eBay, the camera was better than described and arrived in my hands in the UK within 3 days!!
