50 elmar m on the rd1 - got pics?

Better avoid it as the Elmar's 'tube' hits more or less slightly the roller cam of the body.

I find that my 1960s dual-scale Elmar 50/2.8 in M-mount collapses safely on the R-D1.

But I've been told that that's the only one that does -- the various M and LTM 50/3.5 versions as well as the modern Elmar-M 50/2.8 all risk encountering the cam roller, light baffles, etc. on the R-D1 and other non-Leica M cameras.

i am still looking forward to the arrival of my elmar m lens...it is now day 3 sitting in canadian customs...and the worst part is that they will probably charge me a storage fee ;)
 
Interested to see what you can do with it :)

I had to pay a 17 Euro administrative fee on top of Custom Duties for my last Toy to come from the USA. The Dutch postal services are bunch of greedy bar-stewards!
