Why do you want to replace the tabbed cron with the collapsible? I have both. Maybe I can help you compare.

My preference is for the Summicron, but I'd be tempted to keep both of these lenses, as using them in b&w may render different results.
They don't call the latest 50 Summicron one of the top three best normal 35mm lenses for nothing.
