50mm - nokton 1.5 or canon 1.4?

This is all good to know about. I will sell my extra sharp ZOOMZ J-3 since the Canon has a similar speed.

Sorry for a newbie question but these canon lenses are not rangefinder
coupled are they?

I was really surprised by the canon 50/1.4. I too was expecting a few "flaws" despite reading that it was well regarded - "some people say one of the best 50 LTMs" as per our Bartender.
