50mm Nokton f1.5?

It must be the same formula in Nikon mount. I don't have one ... Don't think it was a huge seller, since the Nikkor 1.4 is such a superb lens, and most Nikon owners have one.

I have also a CV Nokton 50/1.5 Asph. (LTM-version, not S-mount version), which I'm using with Leica M2 and Voigtländer Bessa T. Not much difference, when comparing it to my Nikkor-S.C 5cm/1.4, which I'm using with Bessa R2S.

Some wide open comparison shots (Nikkor vs. Nokton) here:

I have a Nokton in LTM and one in Contax mount as loaner lenses for my lens comparisons. I will soon post the results of my comparisons on these lenses.

The S3-2000 1.4 (that Vince has) should murder the Olympic and still may be available new with a free body.

Thank you, Vince. The experiment took 10-12 rolls of film, and about 22-24 lenses in Leica or Nikon mount. It was a nightmare keeping track how to focus each lens and also how to mount the different lenses. I am very happy that it is about over now.

I hope that photographers now can see a slice of what these lenses can do.
