I have one that I use for portraits on my r-d1. Every time it blows me away. Beautiful colour rendition and I like the bokey. One of my favourites.

Some very nice shots, I'm looking forward to getting one myself!

If you think so, but I hate straight lines that are curved and the pre-asph does it pleantly.
Plus it does not get sharp to 5.6 or later.
Not my favorite.

These are all 50mm even though the Exif says 35mm in some cases.. dam my non-coded lenses! I'm so forgetful.
I love my pre-Asph. A really cracking lens for the money. I'd love the Asph version but at over twice the price of my pre-Asph I can live without for a while at least.

your wife?

Seattle wedding. An accidental triple or quadruple exposure, but with the best outcome I could hope for. Rushing to get up the hill, I loaded my M6 and thought the film had caught, but after a few shots I realized the film was not advancing properly. Caught Brandon and Charlotte's lantern release and everything else in a few overlapped photos. 1 frame on the roll, and the best photo of my night.

Thanks f16 and Jen. I agree...extremely lucky! Definitely one of my favorite recent photos, and I could never do it again. I guess sometimes the best things happen when you "mess up".
