#2 for me is a killer shot! However, you got a lot of superb captions! Well done
Some nice images in there for sure. Not a big fan of the borders with names thing... I'd rather see them as straight images.

really nice work. here are just a few that i like. #25 is such a special moment--with the eyes. #1 is powerful, expressive in ways we don't normally expect. #34 is so crisp, under control, commanding.
P.S.--a funny thing about your thread. when i first saw the title, i thought it would be a story about a hard year with a camera. i thought you had taken only 52 shots, perhaps, because the camera was malfunctioning or in for repair. the reality--and being able to see such a fine set of 52 photos--was much more enjoyable ...

I liked many too...great exposures and good eye. Borders can be thinner but sometimes it gives nice effect...

A lot of inspiring work.
I'll agree with the borders being obtrusive, but the images are strong. Good work - it must have been extremely difficult paring down the quality images.
Congratulations.

Impossible to pick favorites... they are all so well 'seen' and photographed! A BIG thank you for posting them... very inspirational.
I too would like to know what lenses you typically use, and in general how you like working with the M8 vs. film body. Thanks again.
