Wow
I posted this thread yesterday and was away for most of today, so I am overwhelmed by the response. Wow.
Photography for me has been a therapeutic escape, so to find my work resonating with others is extremely satisfying... and humbling. Thank you.
The M8 has been my inspiration. Rangefinder photography was an uncharted area for me, up until February of this year. Within a month of ownership, I sold all my dSLR equipment and haven't looked back.
I recently picked up an M3 and have been experimenting with film.
Some of you have asked about the lens breakdown. For most of the year my lenses were the 50 summilux asph and 28 elmarit asph, so many of the photos were taken with these two lenses.
Here is the specific breakdown:
63% (33 photos) -- 50mm summilux asph
19% (10 photos) -- 28mm elmarit asph
10% (5 photos) -- 35 summicron asph
6% (3 photos) -- Voigtlander Nokton 40/1.4
2% (1 photo) -- 18mm SE Asph (I no longer have this lens)
Thanks again,
Peter | QDIEM4SC

Peter,
GREAT collection, a year in pictures, maybe a year in your daughters life also.
Thank you for putting this together, I recognize lots of them, and have enjoyed these as you shared them through the year, seeing them as a collection is a interesting reflection of your journey with a photographic instrument.
