5N & 16mm f2.8 at the Fair

Some shots from today's South Florida Fair. Camera handled itself well, except for a few times I wanted to shoot, but it hesitated.

Great shots! Especially the first two: placement of main subjects in the frame really work there! By the way, how did you get these colors/contrast, camera settings or post processing?

And of course, the 16/2.8 rules as a lens for these circumstances..

I especially like the first two!!! What South Florida fair is going on now? Is this in Broward County? I live in Miami and love to go to these kind of fairs for photos.

For some of the effects, I used Gavin's retro plugin for Adobe Lightroom. Good stuff.

Also, I shot a short video using the Sony 5N and 16mm F2.8. I put the movie together using iMovie and added a few schlocky iMovie effects along the way as well.

Nice! Particularly like the B&W conversion. Care to share your workflow for that?

Sure, I did the crop and local adjustments in Lightroom, then transferred it to my Silver Effects Pro (version1) plug in where I added the slight coffee color and burned the edges.
