I pulled out my 690BL and it wont dry fire in roll mode only in sheet mode
Is there something I am forgetting to do?

Nothing is wrong with your camera. Without film you cannot dry fire a G690BL, GM670 or GL690. THe only way to dry fire any of these early Fuji's is in sheet mode. BTW I own one of each.

Duhhh a kodak moment....when the little light bulb goes off and 35 years of memories come crashing back
Do you know if the round rubber or steel generic 72mm hoods vignette the rangfinder with a 100/3.5?

THe only way to dry fire any of these early Fuji's is in sheet mode. BTW I own one of each.
Huh. I knew it wouldn't dry fire in roll mode. Had no idea it would in sheet mode. That would have made my shutter checking a bit easier last week [rolleyes]

Why settle for a generic hood when you can get a Fuji original sometimes at KEH. I had a B&W rubber hood, but it was not built to last. The rubber eventually fatigued with age.

Because Keh charges $105 for shipping to Japan....ouch
I will look around the Japanese auctions for one
