Yes, Cal! You are correct. It's for unperforated film in Hasselblad A70 magazine. As soon as I catch break from work, will do some drawings and measuring (with Dan's help) and make inquiry with machinist how much it will cost per set of 4 rollers.

For non-perf 70mm film it would be great to have that capability.

I'm still would want a set or two. Best to exploit fully my 70mm capacity.

I have been eyeing those 150 foot rolls of Kodak surveilance flim. Come out to about $4.50 a 120 equiv (32.5 inches length of a roll of 120).

The pricing on medium format gear is remarkably low. This is an opportunity.

Everything I ordered from NDT is now finally here. Total cost of this rig as shown (brand new) Sixty Bucks plus shipping. Four more reels (for a total of five), and the PVC Agitation stick. These NDTs are a little taller than the stainless 70mm reels, so really only two would fit in the Kodak 8x10 Deep Tanks. Maybe circular PVC tanks are the way to go with these. Haven't decided yet. Imagine doing five rolls of 13' 70mm film in a go....... Outrageous!

If you want some faster 70mm film I think you could not do much better than WL Surveillance. The tonality reminds me of old Tri-X, or Eastman XX. And it is medium format. 😎

I'll be mixing up some fresh ADOX Borax MQ (D76 derivative) prolly this weekend. TomA got me hooked on this stuff, it is super cheap and easy to make from the component chemicals. And it is superior to D-76 IMO. Also I need to finish my two test mags of 70mm WL. I have the next three days off so we will see........

I too am interested in ADOX. I have a hard copy of formulas from that Kodak 5222 thread. I also have a triple beam scale, set of brass weights, graduated cylanders, ultrasonic cleaner, magnetic stirring hot plate, brown one gallon reclaimed bottles that once held alcohols (water soluable solvent and with a few rinses leaves no residue) and various research lab equipment useful for making my own developers.

ADOX is high on the list. For a guy who is lucky to own three 15 foot reels and is expecting delivery of 4 8x10 Kodak Hard Rubber tanks, as well as an 18 120/220 reel Nikor rack that blending one's own soup for no money allows mucho negatives. Using 3 1/2 gallon dip and dunk tanks is mucho developer and replenishment is required. I also have the formula for the replenisher.

In this manner film is and remains cheap just like the good old days. That Type W surrveilance film seems to be in abundant supply. $4.50 a roll works for me. Bonus is no constant reloading like in 120.

I have 1000 feet of 70mm sleeving. I bought the heavier 3mil for $86.00 at B&H. Special order so delivery was for free. I still have to come up with a solution for storage of the cut sections of negatives and sleeves.

The negs are quite beefy when processed in ADOX Borax MQ. That's how I like them. On the right is a roll of 70mm WL Surveillance.
Not exactly sure what the film is on the left. I think it is Plus-X Aerographic 2402 also in ADOX Borax MQ

Two rolls of 30.5 meter (100") of 70mm fresh Rollei 400s 😀😎😎😎😀

Maco Customer Service told me that they have several hundred rolls of this 70mm film in stock. Good to know.
And Freestyle contacted Rollei for me, and Rollei said they have no plans to discontinue this film anytime soon.

Oh, man.. If I would have known that Maco will continue with 70mm 400 iso infrared/ normal film, you might have missed the deal..

I inquired directly with Maco not long ago and they told me they had several hundred rolls of 70mm Rollei 400s in their stocks. Which is also very cool.

Can you post here a few of your 70mm Hasselblad photos here? There is a LOT of 70mm interest here. How did you like like the 500 feet of Plus-X Aerorecon? That is a lot of film. I also bought some from that Guy out in Utah that had a case of it

I have used this Ortho 25 film in 35mm with Film Low Gamma developer (Udo Raffay) sold under Rollei Low Contrast RLC and this is a high resolution film, however Orthochromatic. Really marvellous results!

Ortho 25 in RLC 1+4 8:30 minutes at 20C.

Same film and developer: Leica M7 with F/2,0-50mm Summicron and F/2,5-75mm Summarit.
