Carl,
I think that at one time I nearly bought your 75mm Lux from you. I'm glad that I did not, as you use it so beautifully. Of the many very talented photographers here, your images and Nenad's most consistently speak to me. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
Best,
Ryan Lloyd

Ok, so this is one lens I have no time for. f1.4 in a 75mm sounds nice but if you think the Nocti is a monster... Give me a 50mm anyday over any 75mm for street work. For longer stuff I always liked my 90 Elmarit.
I fail to understand how an adult could not handle the 75mm Summilux. If it is too heavy, then I have to wonder how such a person could survive.
It is well balanced. The throw is micro-sensitive, which is important with an lens with such shallow DOF wide-open.
Too bad Leica discontinued it. Perhaps they found that it was under-priced considering the labor necessary and the discards they had to make.

Here are a few new images taken with the Lux.
The lighting is weird, as it came trom a window that was high and to the back of Lina.
Not all shots came out sharp.

When you buy into the M system, it is often to have a small system to go anywhere with camera + lens without having to carry bags around.I fail to understand how an adult could not handle the 75mm Summilux. If it is too heavy, then I have to wonder how such a person could survive.
Try to go out with your 75 Lux in your pants pockets.

Who needs pants Pockets
I'll strap it to my Body.....
had the 35 1.2 nokton and the size & weight did not Bother me.
Both lenses share the same weight but Different Dimensions.
It is now my ONLY BIG lens I own.....its worth every bit in weight...
Cheers- H
