, I will have the funds for this project.
I pretty much have my road map laid out....VC-21-P, VC-28/2, VC-50/1.1, 90/2 Cron...
But Which one?
SM, Early M, etc...
What are the differences in the 90/2's?
I intend to use the 90 more for candid people images. Is there a preferred version for B&W and some color?
My budget is around $700.00 USD... So the latest are out, I would guess.

I got my V1 90mm F2 here in the classifieds, for $190. It's a great lens, some think it's the big bertha. I find it balances perfectly on M5. Well worth having, I had a black V2 twenty-five years ago, and sold it. Won't be selling this one. Use it on my Visoflex as well, I really enjoy using that combo. Truly a classic.

First roll with my new and beaten up V2 black Summicron. I'm very happy with it.

I think the Summicron 90AA is incredibly sharp.

A little OT, I need to know what filter is used on a Ver 2 90mm Summicron?
48mm or 49mm S# 262xxx
Will post a image or 2 in when I finish up the roll of BW with my new (used) 90 'Cron.

I have the lens. It uses 48mm filters.
And if you use a 48-52 ring, you can use usual 52mm filters AND extend the built-in hood. That's cool!
Cheers,
Juan

I almost sold my 90mm Summicron E55, but after seeing the results here, I'll deal with the longer focal length on the M8.2 and use this baby!
