It's not easy to answer your question, the lens is not produced any more, it's not easy to come across a new one so I guess you have the choice of either paying or not the asking price.
Ebay shows a fairly wide range of prices depending on the location of the lens, it's cheaper in the Americas.

Brand new, the lens was $500 USD. No idea how much a "mint" but used one would go for.
My 5 year old lens locked up on me & I can no longer focus to within 8 feet. Hasselblad wants $300 to fix it!
So to me, the lens ain't worth much @ all.....😡
