i seemed to have tucked the 15 away for awhile and the new 50/1.1 has become a new favourite, more so than the new 35/1.2.
that big 50 is very comfortable in use and i like the images it makes.

but a 50 on the rd1 is like a 75 and so i am having to adjust most everything about the way i shoot.

however, a little shake up might be good for the soul...

The 28/1.9 should go well together with the 50/1.1.

i love my fast kit, including that 28...but i have been 'seeing' a bit longer this last little while. normally the 28 is on the long side for me with the 15 being 'normal'...i have been bitten by the 50's bug!

Like 'the three hats'!
Have you done much post processing on the shots - I like the colour balance.

Just thought that a 40/75 (equivalent) combo would be very powerful, and the Ultron and Nokton seem to render similarly. Longer is good, forces you to crop mentally .... for me at least. Very wide is for lens testers :)

Your flickr 50/1.1 shots are nice.

i think what will happen is the 28 and the 50 will become a 2 lens kit and the 35 will be a one lens walkaround 'kit'.

i've gotten some shots that i quite like with the 15 though.

i followed the 2 women for awhile hoping for a '2 hats' shot when the gent with the same white hat pops onto the scene...i was very happy.

i do very little post processing, a 'complete' pp might include...a bit of a crop, levels and then unsharp mask...change to b&w is much the same.

Just LOVE what YOU have captured w/the 1.1....
I think it will be the PURRfect 50 companion
To my 50 lux and cron

50's ROCK .....
Superb in your hands
Can't wait to get mine
Best- h

So, you rediscovered the 50mm focal length? Me too... but I've been playing with my "Poor Man's Nokton" (Canon 50mm f1.2) and one of my Leica M6TTL bodies.

Time to check out your Flickr shots! ;)
