A Contax Digital rangefinder?

Wishful thinking. The way Kyocera departedt the photo world left a bad taste in many mouths. Mine included. I wouldn't touch a "new" product from Kyocerta with the proverbial 10ft pole.

Why so much beef with the company? Didn't they just go under?

And seriously, I need a 6x7 G2.

I like the speaker holes below the hotshoe, guessing you can use it as an mp3 player as well? That would explain the 'search' button below the mode dial too.

It's a microphone ... cameras, like the new generation of computers awaiting us, need to respond to voice command and will of course have the appropriate voice recognition software.

"What don't you understand about 'ISO 1600' you piece of sh!t?"

If Contax (Kyocera) reentered the camera business I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat. They made beautiful camera that took the most impressive lens line (for the money) ever produced. Put my D90 sensor in a G3 and I'd be a very happy man.

It saddens me to think that many beautiful camera designs such as this one will simply disappear because of the conversion to digital technology. There will never be a digital equivalent to this, or they will simply convince people that some silly toy without a viewfinder and a half a sensor is the digital equivalent.

Same for the Mamiya 6 &7, the Hexar AF, the Fuji GA... lost in conversion.

Stupid digital.
