I got mine domestically a while back. The rarer silver version.
The VF'er is kinda special in itself. It has frames for 43mm and 50mm, but it also serves 35mm perfectly by using the entire VF'er.
The VF is contrasty like a modern Zeiss VF'er (the best), and it even has a diopter built in.
The only thing is that you have to be aware that the VF'er has an offset to line up on LTM cameras, and on a M-body this offset is a bad thing.
The 43/1.9 has a fast focus. Due to the VF'er I know that the difference between 50mm and 43mm FOV is slight, and on my Wetzlar M6 I had the 75mm frames stripped out by Sherry. Works really great with the fast focus for street.
The Pentax-L on a IIIG is a great camera also. I need to get another one.
