A New Mp?

I went to my local camera shop for some *therapy* and he offered me a Chrome MP with 0.58 VF for $3,500...

Of course, I will then have to sell the idea to my wife...and i can't hide the camera since it will be my only Chrome Leica.

I just bought the black paint .58 mp in the classifieds here. So far I am very happy with my decision. Is it a-la-carte or a factory model? I suppose you could say they aren't really made with that finder anymore and if you don't buy it now there wont be another one for years to come!

shop around and be patient. you can find it used mint for much less.

Camera quest I know..I should be more patient...I am a terrible impulse buyer...in fact, while he was about to sell me the MP i ended up buying a new 28mm f2.8 Elmarit...I really like this lens though... Not as fast as I would like it to be, but so far I really like it.

ok buy the mp from your local camera shop(ask for 500 discount!) then go to buy 150 usd of red roses an a bottle of chilled white italian wine and go home.

He's right - I bought one (mint, chrome, 0.58) last year for USD2000. Lovely camera. 😀
