Hello,
As some may remember, I was asking about a standard lens choices. I got a new to me Leica M3 and wanted to get a nice lens to go with it. Well, while funds are limited and choices are many, I just got a an adapter rings and ..... started with what I already had in LTM. What I had was - Leica Summitar , which was my fav. on Bessa R, I also have a Russian Industar 22 coll from 1950. and Jupiter 3. So far I only have results from the Industar 22. And I'm very happy with them. I really didn't use it all that much before - call it vanity, wanted to have a Leica or at least Voigtlander lens on my Bessa. Well, what a fool I was. It's a sharp lens. Nice to use (once you get used to it), and it reacts very cool to sun, when pointed towards it. It's also an interesting film it's shot on - Konica 400 C-41 processing, gives almost "infrared" look to the pics. Well, here are a couple pics and more at the link below:

Why are the edges of the photos dark in Photos #1 and #3? Is there vignetting due to using a lens hood? Else, the photos look very nice.

Actually there was no hood and these were cropped a bit from the actual size - what looks like Vignetting is black frame I added in combination with the scene I suppose. I don't even know if there is one for I-22 lens. No hood, no filters, many cleanning marks on a front element and yet... it works good.
Thanks for your comments.

nice shots 🙂

what do you think of the Jupiter 3 in comparison? thanks

I don't have B&W film developed from M3 and J-3 yet, but I did use it before for colour wide open on Bessa R and results were very good too. Inside the church. Never did try it outside yet. It has lots of cleanning marks and even small scratches on a front glass - didnt seem to matter inside, but outside I think it will flare a lot. When I have results from J-3 - I will post here.
