A short Post-Christmas giveaway thread

Sheeesh, it took my struff nearly a ruddy month to be claimed, lol.

Cary, is that the first version of the Nikkor 43-86mm, and is it as bad as it's rep?

I've got a "TAKUMAR (BAYONET) 1:2.5 135mm" with "554128 ASAHI OPTICAL CO." around the barrel just beyond the chrome ring. It has a pattern of squares for the focusing grip. Blue (ft) and Green (m) focus distances almost at the same level on the dull chrome distance ring. White location dot, Blue 4 and Orange 8 on the aperture ring, which is clicked in half steps. Built in lens hood (probably plastic, but it's not easy to tell) and it has "Made in Taiwan" on it.

It looks practically new and unused.

I'll post a couple of pics tomorrow.

This time I'm going to try and stick to UK only.

Edit:

As promised, here's a couple of pics, (which I'd hoped would've turned out better, but we can't have everything.):

Don't be worried about the apparently "slanted" piece of plastic with " 135 mm" on it in the first photo, that's just an optical illusion - I've just double-checked.

Does nobody want the Takumar 135mm f2.5 (Taiwan)? Surely someone could use it even if only as an occasionally used spare, or maybe when you don;t want to risk your super-duper multicoated Japanese Takumar 135mm f2.5.

Thanks for the reply and info, Pan. Yes, I'd read on the Pentax forum in the lens section that the Japanese ones are better, but still, from 70 reviews this lens gets 8.20 as the main headline number, so it must at least be good in most aspects. Either the construction must be good or my copy is almost unused.
