A starter kit ?

Looking stater kit ,M6 in internet and found:
1.M6, Black 1993 sr nbr: 199xxxx good(+) with strap, box, paper
1.M6, Black 1996 sr nbr: 229xxxx good.

Price of the 1993 higher than 1996 around $60.
Are there any concern when buy M6, instead of condition?Are manufacture year, box and paper influent to re-sale price (if some day i want sell this item)?

Well, when I bought a car I will choose later model if in simmiliar condition...🙂

The description of "good" on the internet has many meanings, so be VERY CAREFUL. Don't let your lust for a M6 cloud your good judgment. Try and buy from a place that gives you a warranty period, or the ability to return the item.

If you buy on the internet, use the following method to protect yourself: Pay via PayPal and use your credit card. Any other method leaves you at the mercy of an unscrupulous seller. There have been too many stories on this site of people who have been ripped off while buying gear using bank transfers or other one way methods.

The other reason I advise on using a method with a return policy, is that you are new to the M system, and are therefore not familiar with what all to check to see if you are getting a camera in good condition, or one that is cosmetically good on the outside, but a piece of junk inside, and this could end up being a very costly exercise.

As they say, "Buy cheap, pay twice."
