I think you need me to hook you up with some classic Zeiss Ikon Contaxes to improve your avatar

Btw, which lighting are you using for these shots ? Both your previous one (3p) and this look really nice with that golden touch.
the lighting could not be more simple.
i have a 100 watt household bulb in a small aluminum reflector that i handhold and move about.
the digicam is on a tripod as i move the light and then take a shot. i just keep changing the light's position till i like it. i try to feather the light as best i can so it's not too intense.
so, tell us about the new lady...

Joe, a true gentleman avoids talking about that...
The lighting looks way cool, as usual, simpler is better !
Time to reach my bed now, I need to plug in my chargers...

Do you have any pics yet with the Ikon/35mm Zeiss M lens? How is the lens? I bet it's sharp as Hell.

i have only one roll so far and it is not processed yet.
i went out today and took only a few weak shots.
the ae was throwing me and i started to get frustrated.

Does your silver Ikon have an AE lock button on the back like my black professional Bessa R3A? This works well.

it does.
i think i'm just too used to using cameras without built in meters.

I know what you mean. I'm the same way with built-in meters. However, I like the kind which doesn't require a battery like my old Vitomatic 11. I have the 11b now but I need a filter and more so a hood. I used to have a good hand-metre but it dissapeared. I used to use it for night photography. I guess I'll have to get another one. Anyways, I find AE useful, especially for quick shots.
