I just did some very brief, informal tests to confirm focus accuracy of 3 close focus approaches for Leica rangefinder on M240. The wide open performance of both the 50mm Summicron DR and the 50mm Elmar f2.8 was excellent. Here are the test photos with descriptions:
1) Dual Range Summicron using googles,
2) Focusing block of DR Summicron mounted on SOOKY-M adapter/close focus goggles using UOORF 16508 adapter.
3) 50mm Elmar f2.8 mounted on SOOKY-M adapter/close focus goggles.
Results are in the Flickr album below if anyone is interested. All shots done with lenses wide open f2 for Summicron DR, f2.8 for Elmar.
