Eventhough it has parallax correction we still don't get exactly what we compose do we?

I think I get pretty darn close to what I frame. It's not an SLR so there is some variation in what I frame, but nothing that has ever made me feel like the shot was off.

for sure, the reason I ask is because I shoot slides and want to project them so cropping is not an option, but yes you are right it is pretty dang close.

In the manual it says it has 88% frame coverage at 3m. Can anybody clarify what this means? Thanks.

The final image will show 12% more than what you see in the VF.

If you want almost 100% of what you see for projection, you need to use a MF SLR, like a Mamiya 645, Pentax 67, Hasselblad etc.
I use a Mamiya 645 Pro, a full kit with 3 lenses and multiple backs can be had for about $600 used/great shape. A crazy deal considering the hardware.

The Gf670 is not perfect but it sure is damn good.
