It may be of interest for you to know that the modern B+W filters of 40.5mm and 43mm size have a 0.5 mm thread pitch. It works great on my vintage lenses.
I think Heliopan may also have the right pitch, but I am not sure about that. It's been a while since I bought a Heliopan filter.
None of the Japanese and American filter makers use the 0.5 mm pitch. They are all 0.75 mm pitch.
I just purchased a B+W MRC UV 40.5mm to fit on my Zeiss Biogon 35mm f:2.8 for Contax RF. I usually order from B&H photovideo, but since it was a Saturday, and I was impatient, I used Amazon Prime. The filter actually arrived a few days before the lens. However, once mated, it is a match made in Heaven (Germany).
