The old 22228 adapter from big L… must have out of production for a couple of years (it is not in my L… Handbuch from 1999, rsp. to Osterloh 2002 it wasn´t made for more than 20 years)) .

Does anybody know what type of modification is done with the 22228 adapter ?.

And is the appearance of the modified R to M adapter a forecast on the new “Ms” (“M9 / CL2”) at photokina 2008, which perhaps allows also a focusing without RF-coupling ?

Hi,
It is exactly as it says. To use R lenses on a M camera. No rf coupling of course.
You can buy the same adapter from cameraquest. He even has one with rf coupling. Well sort of.

A similar product is also available at novoflex at a third oft the price (about 140 €)

I just wondered that L restarted building it after more than 20 years.
