advice on a trade

i'm sure it must seem like a roller coaster at times...

No doubt about that - the exchange rate of gear is impressive! Just be happy it's not Ferraris or something even more expensive... 😀

not to get maudlin but ever since the heart attack i have felt more free to buy and sell and experience the gear i never did before.

i would have thought it should have the opposite effect: stop worrying about gear and focus on taking pictures. 😕

i can do both.
contrary to what some might think, i'm out shooting quite a bit.

and just to be clear...i am not worrying about my gear, i am throughly enjoying it and trying different cameras and lenses etc.

Wildly OT (apologies in advance) I know that this 😕 is the 'confused' smiley, but why does it look like the 'unhappy blue queen' icon?

🙂

Whether to trade for a lens or body? In an ideal world I would prefer the body. I would just grab the body that had the lens I wanted on it. You can mix them around as you see fit. You would have your 4 favourite lenses all ready to go without changing them out.
