Agfa Record with some questions

Hello everybody,

I am having some small issues with my Agfa Record II and was wondering if anybody knows a solution for this. I noticed that the spacing on my negatives is tight or nonexistent between frames, even if I carefully set the numbers in the red window. Second problem is that the pictures have the edges not perpendicular to the film, but at an angle and a little fuzzy. Does anybody know how to make this little big camera work better ? I have to admit that I am very pleased with the results I get from this camera, but having some frames overlapping a little is not a nice thing, even if the negative is big enough.

Sounds like bulging film. Has the pressure plate gone missing or are its springs weak or broken?

As far as I can tell, everything looks fine, but I'll check it out later when I get home.

I also would suspect the pressure plate. It also sounds like there is too much slack in the film. What brand film?

That was Ilford Delta 100, I would expect that to be ok.
