Aki Asahi Black Leatherettes

Looking at coverings, having a hard time peeping on my phone.

Which black leatherette is your preferred between the 4040 and 4044?

If I'm not mistaken the 4040 appears to have a more "aggressive" grain, which I like.
If only cameraleather.com would pick up the Xpro 1 and make a griptac kit 🙁

Anyhow, opinions?

I can't answer your question but I do like the 4008 that I got. It's more like the 4040.
