Aki Asahi coverings

has anyone put either the #4034 Morocco Grain Black or the #4008 M3 vulcanite from Aki Asahi onto an M6TTL? my factory covering on the M6TTL is in fine shape, but I never liked it much. it is slippery, as many people have complained about.

Do either of the leatherette replacements above feel non slippery in the hand? The camera leather stuff looks good, but more money and I have heard they take forever.

and about the M3 style vulcanite, does that actually feel like the old vulcanite?

Paul, I took the opportunity to try someting new when I needed to replace the vulcanite of my M3. I bought dark brown lizard embossed cowhide from Aki Asahi. It only cost $19 shipped and it arrived in 5 days to Canada so it was neither expensive nor took a long time.

For my new M6, I am toying with the idea of covering it with the same dark brown cover, but will likely go with the black lizard embossed cowhide.
