Slight exaggeration maybe ... but they do sell a film scanner so why not? 😀

My mother always told me that if you talk about something enough it may just happen ... mind you we've been banging on about the prospect of a digital RF from Zeiss here for as long as I can remember and not a lot seems to be happening there!

😛

It happens over here (Belgium) from time to time: they then sell a lot of Kodacolor VR, 200 and 400 ASA, for a limited time, at a very good price. I usually get some then.

Stefan.

I was just being silly ... I didn't realise that they do actually sell film from time to time! 😱

I've only just started shopping at Aldi for food etc and I'm impressed. The two major supermarket chains here in Oz are Coles and Woolworths and they're a bunch of thugs IMO. My weekly shopping bill dropped by around twenty percent when I defected to Aldi. 😛

I'll have to keep an eye out for film. 🙂

Tell us when they do - my wife does all the household shopping so I'm totally ignorant where the supermarkets are concerned.

I didn't even realize Aldi had stores in Australia.

Of coursse, it iss all part of ze great plan, I vould ssink!

They're popping up like mushrooms mate ... and I personaly welcome them! 😀

I think I read somewhere recently that they now have around ten thousand outlets world wide.

Stefan,

here in Germany, they are selling it all the time - two 36 exp. films for 1,79 EUR or so.
But I don't like how the VR 200 scans.

Cheers,
Uwe
