Playa Baracoa, Cuba. All Cuban electrical wiring is a scarey rats nest, no matter if it is a new installation on a power pole, a distribution panel inside a building, or within a residence. My girlfriend recently had a small fire inside her apartment caused by too light a wiring feeding the air conditioner and no circuit breakers. The solution was to rewire her A/C directly into the distribution wiring coming into the building before the meter. That also saves on her electric bill.
