The FIKUS adjustable shade works fine at the 50mm setting. There were some labeled for that use, but they show the 35mm setting being for the Summar. I've had no trouble at the 50mm setting. (Of course, the Summar has so much internal vignetting at wide apertures, would you notice more?) It's what I use when the Summar is part of a travel kit.
When not traveling, if I want a shade I use the correct one. Big shades don't bug me.

Well, I don't know the size of the Summar lens but I use a nice black plastic one from our friends in the Ukraine. Rectangular at the front (about 50mm by 60mm) and for a 42mm dia barrel. In other works a slip-on hood. Works OK with the Jupiter 8 it was meant for and the Summitar with a bit of squeezing and easing (but a man must have a hobby).
Any one interested in them could get in touch as I've box of them, due to mis-clicking one day years ago...

I have a small metal Walz one from the 1950s. It looks the part and functions pretty well. Unfortunately like all originals its up to luck as to whether or not you find one or not. (i found mine in the days before eBay tucked away in a "bits and bobs" bin at an old fashioned camera store (long no more unfortunately) and grabbed in just in case I ever bought a Summar. Glad I did as I have never seen another of this sort.
An alternative that is also found from time to time is a kind of clamp on hood also from the 1950s or earlier. These work with Elmars and with Summars or with other lenses of this approximate size as the clamp has a lot of flexibility to adpat to slightly differnet sized lenses.

The SOOGZ works fine with the Summar and lets you use a 39mm screw-on hood as well as 39mm filters.
