An Update on My Son

I have been a space “nut” for many years Chris. Mack’s work is excellent and seems to be based on the actual laws of physics. Great story and excellent art work from Mack.

As a former newspaper photographer Chris, I can appreciate the thrill of getting your work published and being paid for it. Please congratulate him for me.

I shot this photo of Mack a few weeks ago with the Leica IIIf and 50mm Summitar lens that RFF member OC Garza gave me.

In this photo recently tweeted by the University of Michigan Engineering School, NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine is speaking next to a large illustration, CREATED BY MY SON, of a proposed Mars habitat and spacecraft!

It is one of several images of it that Mack was hired to produce for the project by the University of Michigan engineers who designed it.

I saw the story for the first time now. Great story. I get emotional when I hear things about kids. I have a 6 year old son too. Do you have any tips for me to have him successful like your son? :)

Congratulations to my son, Mack. He is now a university graduate! He just got his grades for his last classes, straight A's again. They were the last two classes for his degree. He earned a Bachelors in Computer Science from Purdue University's Fort Wayne campus!

I don't have a photo of him holding his diploma, unfortunately. The university cancelled the graduation ceremony this year because of the corona virus. They're going to mail the student's their diplomas. :(

Still, he has his degree completed; I'm very proud of all he has accomplished!
