The three share a similar style, with deep rich shadows and the main subject brightly lit. Of the three I think the second is most expressive.
 
That 2nd one is absolutely killer. You're making such good use of harsh direct light and deep shadows, and the little gf1 is doing fantastic.

The GF1 I'm finding to be a pretty neat little camera - though I still wish for a better viewfinder & distance scale. Not sure if it's just me, but the GF1's rangefinder-like appearance makes my fingers wander around for knobs.... The 3 week test run (or rather vacation to NY) taught me how to operate the camera fairly quickly.

What I love about large cities is the nice patches of light you can find even if it's midday. Tall buildings, awnings and such really help with this... overall though, it's just nice to press that shutter :)
