Born and raised in the states (Suffolk, Virginia). But, my heart belongs in Colombia. Fell in love with the place when I worked there for 5 years. Loved it! Even with all the problems it is the most fun place I have ever been.

Hey Glenn you know you're welcome anytime... And that's right Colombia isn't that bad after all!!! beautiful places, beautiful women and friendly people.

Cheers

How about the head of a lamb as a delicatesse! I could never bring myself to even taste it. When you have sad eyes staring at you, it ruins your appetite.

Wow, what a melting pot.

I am Greek, I was born in Athens but I have been living in the UK for the last dozen of years or so. Mostly in the south (London, Brighton and now Oxford) but also for a year in Scotland.

Maybe someone start another book of the type "A Day in the Life of the RFF World" where we get (proportionally to population size) photographers take one photo of one scene in the backyards all over the world. On the other hand, isn't this what we already have with Books 1 and 2!

Madrid, Spain

... what about a word in spanish in an hispanic forum mmm.... let´s try it: "siesta" (an easy one....)

... just kidding ;-)

Prague, Czech Republic -- French and Italian citizen, Sicilian at heart & blood, born in Palermo in 1978, left for France with my parents in 1981, been living and growing up in France, left for Czech Republic in 2002. And probably going to move around the world in the coming years :)

Born in Chicago, USA, with Bolivian parents, but like our Chicha swilling fellow member JimG, I too have Andean Indian blood, and to top it all off he just sold me his Yashica GS which I am currently shooting with!

BTW, Jim thanks for the great sale!

I can't wait to bring my new rangefinders back with me to Cochabamba, Bolivia and eat some Saltenas and then venture out for some Chica with my cousins. Strong stuff!

Not an easy one. My maternal grandmother was half Belgium and half Dutch. My maternal grandfather was Italian. My paternal Grandmother was half Spannish and half English. My paternal Grandfather was a quarter Scottish and the rest English. My elder Brother and I were born in New Zealand and have both British and Kiwi Nationality. My younger Brother and Sister were born in Canada.

I guess I am a citizen of the world :D

Looks like I am the first Asian to follow up. Born in Taiwan in 74, moved to Singapore during 85 86 and back to Taiwan. Now works in Shanghai. I love the idea of shooting everybody's backyard (my backyard actually showed up in Mission Impossible 3) , should be an interesting project for all of us.

Am I the first USSR born? :D

Born in Detroit, where the weak are killed and eaten. Where the ruins are a tourist attraction. Where "Guests are advised not to leave the hotel on foot after dark".

Did live in Paris for two years. Did fine once we learned the language. (Paris, Texas)

Grew up on a farm in Michigan, USA. Was in Seattle for a while working for Boeing, other than that, still in Michigan.

This is an international group, which makes it interesting. Haven't seen any responses from mid-east countries yet, though, or other African contries.

The food talk makes me hungry. Maybe we should start a receipe thread!
