Here's a shot with Kodak Portra 160 NC to convince you to try color... This was from my first or second roll.

I am waiting for my first one to arrive. A IV A Rolleicord. What film should I put through it first? Any suggestions?
The IV is a nice camera. You'll be happy with it, I think.
Often, I've run a slide film through a new camera to see if the shutter works okay. If I could get it, I would use more of the Fuji Astia, but I think the Kodak 100G is almost as good.
If I am in a hurry to see some results, I'll run some B/W and develop it myself. At the moment it's Plus-X in Xtol 1+1 for my Automat K4B. But I agree with Mudman about Portra NC, it's a great film for portraits or just anything else.
