It has a 3.5 35 mm Summicron ... looks good but the focus is very hard to move, so stiff that I don't want to try. Hopefully a good cleaning will be what it needs.
I also got. f4 90 mm Summicron for it. I got a thread mount unit and an adaptor. Seems to work great.
Next will be a couple of yellow filters for B&W work and lens hoods.
Does anyone know what size filters I need?
Also a little searching on the web tells me that the camera body was built in 1966 (I'm thinking of it as a high school graduation present to myself). Can anyone point me to information on when my lenses were made?
Not wishing to be picky; in Leica-speak "Summicron" means "F/2" unlike ZEISS, where the name refers to the formula of the lens. So your f/3.5 is most likely a Summaron and your 90 f/4 is most likely an Elmar, or Elmarit. Leitz has been thoroughly cavalier over the years with its naming of lenses but those are the most consistent. F/1.4 Summilux f/2 'cron, f3.5 is now Summarit
