Avotius, lighting has a lot to do with that 3D look you see in the second shot. You'll notice the effect is not present in the other ones.. also, the other ones aren't as sharp as the second one. By the way, all shots except the last two had slight curves adjustments.
Todd: the only M glass I have is this 35ZM, and build quality is good. Has a touch of heft to it, the aperture ring just glides with confident halts on each 1/3 stop, and focus is smooth. I don't use the nubby on the focus ring, though, and I think with excessive and abussive use, that aperture ring may wear. Lens cap design doesn't work well with the hood, my fingers are too thick to pinch it out and I can easily see myself scratching the lens trying to put the cap back on. Therefore, I've made it practice to remove the hood before putting the cap back on.
When I actually make some income this year, I may purchase a 4th gen 35 because I read it's actually a fairly compact lens. The biogon is somewhat longer than my g's 35 and 45 planars.
